Job Description
Make a Difference – Support People to Achieve Their Employment Goals
At Mai-Wel, we believe in building brighter futures by empowering people to enter, engage in and maintain employment. We are seeking passionate and motivated Casual & PPT Job Coaches to join our NDIS Employment Pathways team, supporting participants to develop skills, gain confidence, and reach their goals.
About the Role
As a Job Coach, you will:
Plan, deliver and assess skill development training aligned with participant goals
Provide mentoring, coaching, and workplace support to help participants succeed
Facilitate work experience opportunities and problem-solve workplace challenges
Build strong relationships with participants, their support networks, and employers
Support participants with personal care, communication, transport, and daily needs in line with their individual plans
Promote inclusion, respect, and a culturally safe environment for all
This role involves travel between sites, flexible hours, and using your own vehicle.
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
To be successful, you will have:
Experience in the human services sector, ideally within NDIS or employment support
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to coach, mentor, and motivate others
Flexibility to work across different locations and shifts
A Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services, Mental Health, Youth, or a related qualification (minimum requirement)
Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID009, HLTAID010, HLTAID011) and Driver’s Licence
