Job Description

We are currently seeking 5–6 part-time Support Workers to join our Supported Living & Community Living team in the Hunter region. These roles provide person-centred support to individuals living in supported accommodation, helping them live independently and achieve their personal goals.

This is a rewarding opportunity for compassionate, reliable people who enjoy working closely with participants and being part of a supportive team.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will provide practical and emotional support to participants within their home and community. The role involves assisting with daily living activities while promoting independence, dignity, and inclusion.

We are particularly seeking at least one experienced worker who has strong behavioural support skills to support a participant with complex needs.

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

You are patient, reliable, and passionate about supporting people with disability to live fulfilling lives.

Essential:

  • Experience working as a Support Worker or in a similar role

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and within a team

  • Current Driver’s Licence

  • Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)

Bonus (Highly Regarded):

  • Experience supporting people with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)

  • Experience working with complex behaviours or behaviour support plans
